This species is one of our faves in the ctenanthe (
tee-NANTH-ee) genus. A compact grower, this tender-leaved behaves (& makes demands) much like its "prayer plant' cousins: bright, but always indirect, light, allow top 1" of
quick draining potting medium to dry between watering, & avoid hot air movement from heaters & vents. Any additional humidity will be rewarded with full, lush leaf development.
