ficus elastica 'burgundy'

Ficus elastica 'Burgundy' is all gem tones, beginning with ruby colored juvenile leaves that harden to a glossy deep emerald. 'Burgundy' does best in the brightest indirect light, but also grows well in lightly spotted sun. This is a plant you can enjoy over a lifetime, as it will grow into whatever space you provide it. Ficus can be finicky if stressed however, so avoid drafts or dramatic cultural fluctuations; minor leaf loss may occur during shipping. Pot in a fast draining potting mix & water when top 2" of planting mix is dry.
