aglaomorpha coronans 'bear paw fern'

This relatively un-demanding fern is a treat for so many reasons! An epiphyte, a. coronans offers glossy, upright leaves which develop into deeply lobed fronds with ruby colored midribs. Fuzzy, ochre colored rhizomes (appearing as fuzzy bear paws) develop at the surface of the potting medium, which should be a porous, chunky mix. Provide bright light, with any direct sun being scattered during the first half of the day. Allow to dry halfway between watering. Great in baskets or as a mounted plant.
