Begonia soli-mutata is a species known for its incredible foliage which deepens in contrast in brighter levels of light. Grow in a
light, but quick draining mix, in medium to medium-bright light, avoiding direct sun. Allow the top 1' of potting medium to dry between watering, but remember drying too much will cause leaf margins to brown.
This rhizomatous, shrub-like begonia fills out to 8" in maturity & is fun to propagate using rhizome or leaf chip cuttings. Flourishes in humidity!
