It's not a cactus, but you should treat it like one! Euphorbia knuthii is an easy-growing odd-ball, offering winding stems which emerge from a crumpled, bulbous caudex. Provide 4-6 hours of direct sun, with primary direct exposure during the earlier part of the day (all day southern exposure is fine during during the colder PNW months). Allow to dry between watering, but do not prolong periods of drought. Water deeply, but do leave in standing water.
