Haworthia aristata, or 'lace aloe,' is a sweet succulent that loves bright light, but should be protected from harsh afternoon & evening sun (the appearance of red leaves will let you know that light is too intense). This plant enters dormancy during the hottest parts of the year (though this may be less true indoors in the PNW), with active growth being greatest during spring & fall. Water when half dry when new growth is present, but in winter & during dormancy, allow to dry more thoroughly. This plant will not require potting up for a few years.
