Rhipsalis teres f. capilliformis 'old man's beard' is a tropical epiphyte commonly known as mistletoe cactus. Animated stems cascade from a clumping growth pattern, making 'old man's beard' an excellent hanging or mounted plant. Unlike arid cacti, tender jungle cacti prefer the brightest indirect sunlight & for only the top 1-2" of potting medium to dry between watering. Allow to dry just a little more thoroughly only during winter months.
